Description:Analyst would be supporting application teams. Also supporting the AS/400 in multiple different ways, including batch schedule, design, develop, test and implement enhancement in JDE environment.

Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, implements and maintains AS/400 Systems to support business needs
Evaluates user requests. Performs coding, testing, debugging of business system applications.
Responsible for development and support of the interfaces between ERP Systems (JDE OneWorld) and external applications
Participates in applications trouble shooting and analysis
Provides after-hours technical support. Serves as the back-up for AS/400. May be required to work periodic evenings and weekends
Required to serve a one week on-call rotation from Friday to Friday where trouble shooting and problem solving skills are used to validate and resolve production issues at any time day or night.
Assists AS/400 admin with AS/400 user profiles, backups and restores, production migration, robot schedules and report distribution, file transfers and maintain security of modifications to the Production Environment and serve as a back up to the AS/400 admin

Required Skills:
Proficient in RPG IV (RPGLE) programming knowledge
Knowledge in all areas of the AS/400 - iSeries, including: Operating Systems AS400 - iSeries, Security, Work Management, Capacity & Performance, Communication; TCP/IP, Backup and Recovery
Strong knowledge of AS/400 Queries and other AS/400 based utilities
Ability for trouble shooting, errors and exceptions handling, knowledge of AS/400 ISDB (Interactive Source Debugger)
Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access), Visio, Crystal Reports

Qualification and Experience:
BS degree in Computer Science or related field and / or equivalent technical experience within AS/400 environment
Must have 5+ years of relevant experience
