Responsibilities-Monitoring system design, development, deployment and support packages in a Linux/Unix enterprise environment, IT experience specializing in Implementation and support of the Enterprise Event Monitoring solution (BMC BPPM, BEM, SIM, BPA/BCO), Integration, Troubleshooting and administration of all above products on UNIX, Windows based hosts, Specification and implementation of integrations to other systems management solutions – Hardware, Storage, Network and other 3rd party element managers, To also learn and manage other Enterprise Tools like BMC Patrol, BMC Portal in the environment, Support future integration of ProactiveNet – project

Qualifications/Experience- 3 Years with Bachelors and 5 years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a BS/BA, Must possess Strong working knowledge on Windows and Unix Operating systems, Strong scripting and web programming language PSL, PERL,VB & UNIX Shell Scripting, A minimum of 1 year experience using any (Application/Hardware/OS/network/Portal) Monitoring tools and responding to system alert, Should have strong understanding of SNMP & networking, SNMP MIBsm, Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Designation
