Description:

The candidate will perform general support to all aspect of the Microsoft Windows Server operating system.
Able to write change implementation plans and perform implementation work for approved changes in the Windows environment.
This type of work includes applying security patches and hot fixes. Installing, configuring or reconfiguring applications.
Creating user accounts or groups.
Configuring security policies and settings. Installing and de-installing systems.
Configuring backup policies and groups.
Restoring systems, files or databases from tape.
Must have excellent communication skills and be able to describe technical details to nontechnical individuals.

Responsibilities:
Analyzing servers, hardware, software, and operating systems
Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving issues
Performing backups, archives, and recoveries
Working with vendors for warranty issues
Creating/maintaining documentation

Required skills/abilities/education:
7+ years related work experience or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology including five years experience.
Solid network administration and troubleshooting skills, including hands-experience with a variety of hardware platforms running Microsoft operating systems
Advanced Server-level administration skills with Microsoft Windows 2008 and 2003 Server Enterprise
Microsoft Certifications (MCSE/MCTS/MCITP)
