They are looking for experienced Technical Business Analysts to partner with one of their leading clients, a growing money management firm with over $84 billion in fixed income assets under management, based in Minneapolis. In this dynamic IT role, you will use your project management experience to elicit and document business requirements for medium-to-large sized initiatives. Job Responsibilities:
As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing current state processes and proposing a controlled, effective, efficient, and scalable future state while working with internal IT department and vendors in negotiate scope, creating detailed specifications, using case, and design documentation.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
Developing detailed test plans and performing user acceptance testing in conjunction with client services and marketing process owners; acting as the primary coordinator for resolution of testing issues, including the determination of the appropriate resources to involve
Creating and maintaining user documentation; providing training to end-users as necessary; promoting the use and continued development of value-added processes and functionality
Coordinating post-production review to ensure business users satisfaction
Serving as a resource to support internally and externally developed applications
Developing and maintaining technology solutions within Access, Excel, and SharePoint as needed
Acting as back-up application administrator for vendor supported applications used within client services and marketing
Monitoring content within the client services and marketing applications to ensure data integrity
Completing data scrubbing initiatives and metrics reporting
Establishing and maintaining repeatable processes and reusable tools to ensure consistency, efficiency, and control
Managing projects, documenting processes and procedures
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in related field, or MBA
5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst role
Ability to drive multiple projects and effectively lead project teams
Understanding of system development (SDLC) and associated methodologies and tools
Experience communicating with business users and technical staff
Financial services industry experience, ideally with an understanding of fixed income portfolio management and portfolio related concepts, data, and fundamentals
Possess process re-engineering experience as well as risk management, compliance, or audit experience
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Experience working with Wells Fargo Technology Operations Group
Experience leveraging SQL for data mining and analysis
Expert knowledge of Visio, Excel, and Access, including proven database development skills
PMP certification
